IPLogger or Grabify - Which One Should You Actually Use?

People ask me this all the time - "should I use IPLogger or Grabify?" I've used both for the past year, so here's my actual experience with them.

Quick Answer

For most people: IPLogger
It's simpler, has no account requirement, and does everything the free version of Grabify does but without the annoying parts.

But if you need custom domains: Grabify
Grabify has more custom domain options if that matters to you.

IPLogger

Good stuff:

No sign up required (huge win for me)
Links never expire - created a link 6 months ago, still works
Way less ads than Grabify
Has email tracking built in
Actually free - no premium tier trying to upsell you

Not so good:

Fewer custom domain choices
Interface is basic (but I don't really care about fancy UI)

My take: This is what I use now. It just works, no fuss.

Good stuff:

Lots of custom domain options (like bmwforum.co, stopify.co, etc.)
Been around forever, so it's reliable
More advanced analytics if you make an account

Not so good:

ADS. SO. MANY. ADS. Seriously, it's annoying
Free links expire after 30 days
Some features need account creation
Constantly pushing you to upgrade to premium

My take: It works fine, but the ads got on my nerves after a while.

My Personal Experience

I started with Grabify because that's what everyone talked about. Used it for maybe 3-4 months. It worked fine, but the ads started getting annoying. Plus having my links expire was frustrating - I'd send someone a link, they'd click it a month later, and it wouldn't work anymore.

Switched to IPLogger when I found out it doesn't require signup. Honestly haven't looked back. Does everything I need without the annoyances.

That said, Grabify isn't bad. It's just that for what I personally need (simple IP tracking), IPLogger is cleaner.
