Have you ever sent a link to a friend—a funny video, an interesting article, or an event invitation—and then wondered, "Did they even open it?" You wait for a reply, but sometimes you get nothing. Today, I'm going to show you a very simple trick to find out if your link has been clicked. No complicated tech stuff, I promise!
Find the Original Link
First, get the link you want to share. For example, let's say you want to share a YouTube video. Just copy the URL from your browser's address bar or use the "Share" button.
Go to a Link Tracking Website
Open your web browser and go to iplogger.icu. This is a free tool that helps you create a special "tracking link."
Create Your Tracking Link
On the iplogger.icu homepage, you'll see a box that says "Enter any URL." Paste your original link (the YouTube video link, for example) into this box and click the "Create" button.
Copy Your New Link
The website will generate a new, shorter link for you. This is your tracking link. Copy this new link.
Send It to Your Friend
Now, instead of sending the original YouTube link, send this new tracking link to your friend via chat, email, or any other messaging app.
Check the Results
When your friend clicks on the link, they will be taken to the original YouTube video, so they won't notice anything different. But for you, the magic has happened! Go back to the iplogger.icu website. You'll find a "Results" or "Analytics" page where you can see that someone has clicked your link. It will even show you some basic, non-personal information like the country and the type of device used to open the link.
That's It!
See? It's that easy! Now you'll never have to guess again. This method is great for party invitations, sharing important information, or just satisfying your curiosity. Give it a try!
